Today is the day we all reveal our creations made with our swaps!!
Thanks to Lori Anderson for putting this whole thing together. I can't imagine all the organizing and tracking needed to pull this off. And now she says the next one will include everyone who wants to play? Awesome.
My swap partner, Sandra Young of Gypsy Road Beads, sent me a gorgeous selection. I love the copper pieces and the turquoise focal is awesome.
I didn't exactly have a master plan for the beads. I just laid them all out, and watched them, waiting for them to speak to me. I created two sets, necklaces with matching earrings, using as many of the swap beads as I could. I decided not to sell both sets and keep them for myself.
The first piece was created using the turquoise and copper focal.
I have worn this piece a few times and have received lots of compliments. I'm really happy with it. And these are the matching earrings.
The second set focused on the silver swirly beads Sandra sent. I had several of the same style beads only larger which fit perfectly.
I combined those with the fresh water pearls and copper beads for a piece with an Egyptian feel.
The copper and silver really pop with the fresh water pearls.
And the clasp Sandra sent is awesome. I love it and it matches perfect. I really like the combination of copper and silver.
A huge than you to my swap partner Sandra Young and Lori Anderson, the Bead Soup Blog Hop queen!
Until next time!

Both of your necklaces are pretty and I like the contrast of the colors in the first one, but that second one with the (definite) Egyptian feel is my fave. There's something about the way you hung those spirals that just calls out to me. Well done!

Beautiful jewellery! I like how you spli the soup into two different colour combos. The designs are very nice and I can understand why that pretty turquoise necklace has resulted in many compliments. Well done!

Both collections are wonderful! My favorite is the second one, especially the necklace! The swirls add such a fun element to the design!

Lovely, classic designs with some very pretty beads! I love the red and turquoise together - one of my favourite colour combinations.

I think the fresh water pearl necklace is my favorite, I just love how the colors turned out. Great job with all of your pieces.

I like you pieces very much. It's neat that I was sent the same gold freshwater pearls, but mine were top drilled instead of center drilled.
