Today is the day we all reveal our creations made with our swaps!!
Thanks to Lori Anderson for putting this whole thing together. I can't imagine all the organizing and tracking needed to pull this off. And now she says the next one will include everyone who wants to play? Awesome.
My swap partner, Sandra Young of Gypsy Road Beads, sent me a gorgeous selection. I love the copper pieces and the turquoise focal is awesome.
I didn't exactly have a master plan for the beads. I just laid them all out, and watched them, waiting for them to speak to me. I created two sets, necklaces with matching earrings, using as many of the swap beads as I could. I decided not to sell both sets and keep them for myself.
The first piece was created using the turquoise and copper focal.
I have worn this piece a few times and have received lots of compliments. I'm really happy with it. And these are the matching earrings.
The second set focused on the silver swirly beads Sandra sent. I had several of the same style beads only larger which fit perfectly.
I combined those with the fresh water pearls and copper beads for a piece with an Egyptian feel.
The copper and silver really pop with the fresh water pearls.
And the clasp Sandra sent is awesome. I love it and it matches perfect. I really like the combination of copper and silver.
A huge than you to my swap partner Sandra Young and Lori Anderson, the Bead Soup Blog Hop queen!
Until next time!

Good Morning Michelle! You've done an absolutely outstanding job using this soup! I love it all. The copper is just so darn purty. I loved that clasp too and you used it perfectly. Looks like you probably managed to use everything too! This was a lot of fun and I enjoyed being your partner!

Michelle - both of those pieces are spectacular! Sandra's soup was beautiful and your creative genius is stunning. I love both pieces. I'm drawn to the turquoise and coral one cuz I love southwest style but I love your Egyptian inspiration, too. I feel like you - I'm thinking the resulting pieces I made are staying in my personal stash.

Love what you received and what you made with it. The first necklace has such a southwest feel to it with the beautiful turquoise and silver focal bead and accents. The second has a real tribal feel to it. They are both beautiful. Great job!

Oh my. I think I'm in love! I have such a weakness for combinations of pale blue/teal with red... and then you go and use lime green with swirls?? Lady, we must be souls sisters or something! Love your work!
