Art Talk!

Well, it has certainly been far too long since I have posted here. The last project I finished was the Llama quilt. After that I was inundated with preparing for our Kentucky Derby Fundraiser for our Relay For Life team. It went pretty well given that it was our first time throwing such a party. Next year will be even better!

Here we are in our hats. 

So, today I pose the following:

Charles Wilson Peale was an accomplished American painter. Of his 17 (Oy!) children, four followed in his footsteps. This was fitting, since the sons were all named after artists: Titian Peale, Rubens Peale, Raphaelle Peale and Rembrandt Peale.

If you were to name a child after an artist, what name would you select and why?

Hmmm, I'm going to have to ponder that one.... I love Klimt but, no. I love Georgia O'Keefe so maybe Georgia. I love some local artists here so I could definitely use Dawn.
