Ahh, Fridays. The sun is out. The air is crisp. And the dollar fiends are waiting at the door with bated breath. They've got their good walking shoes on, their hands are warmed up, they're ready. All that's left is for the door to swing open.
People start stacking things on tables only to put them back in an hour or two. I can spend about 10 minutes in the fray before my limit is reached and I head for quieter pastures. Today three things came home with me.
This glass vase cost me a dollar. I'm finally admitting (or acknowledging) my preference for the green/blue/purple color family. And in particular, I love chartreuse. My bedspread is covered in squares of this family so this vase will fit in perfectly. I could also put it in my studio. You can just make out the curtain fabric in the photo and there are swatches of this green in them.
It's a cheery color. I like it.

Half the fun is watching all the people who stop in. It's quite an interesting mix. Always a nice way to spend a Friday morning.
Now, I'm ready for the next big adventure...
a day that you only pay $1 for a Bosstones CD is an amazing day <3 You'll have to remind me of this next time. I'm dying to check it out now!
